Nasoan Sheftel-Gomes is a certified leadership coach dedicated to developing transformative leaders who create equitable and purpose-driven workplaces. With deep experience coaching leaders in unionized and non-unionized environments, she helps individuals and teams strengthen self-awareness, leadership, and decision-making skills to foster cultures of collaboration, accountability, and belonging.
Through her coaching and consulting business, Transformative Leadership Collective (TLC), Nasoan supports leaders in navigating organizational change, addressing bias in workplace systems, and developing inclusive leadership practices. She specializes in guiding teams through complex conversations that enhance connection, trust, and collective purpose.
With a background in law, labor relations, human resources, strategic planning, and organizational development, Nasoan brings a systems-thinking approach to leadership coaching. She has designed and led leadership development initiatives, anti-bias programs, and organizational transformation efforts that center equity and worker empowerment. Examples of her work include: assisted organizational leader of a small international research non-profit with a compensation survey/assessment to address inequity in their compensation system; reimagined and recreated an employee evaluation system for a small arts non-profit and coached organizational leader through challenges in all aspects of employee management from hiring to resignation; coached clergy of a religious institution through the work of converting the church’s campus to include affordable housing.
Nasoan has extensive experience in social justice law and she utilizes lived, professional and educational experience in her work alongside intuition and self-awareness. She is a ICF trained professional coach and holds a Certification in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from Cornell University. She is an attorney with a JD from CUNY Law and a master’s degree from UC Berkeley Journalism School. Her passion lies in coaching leaders to step into their full potential. She lives in Los Angeles, CA with her teenage daughter.
